1. Suffolk County police announced Wednesday that 14 people had been arrested in nine separate investigations, with 1,000 grams of cocaine, 650 grams of fentanyl and several illegal weapons being seized. Homes in Deer Park, Mastic, Mount Sinai, Patchogue and Bay Shore were searched in March. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. Tradewinds Brewing Company in Riverhead has joined Brew For Ukraine, an international movement spearheaded by the Federation of Beer and Ukraine brewery Pravda Beer Theatre. Tradewinds Brewing Company owner Duffy Griffiths will create a special beer recipe, created by Pravda Beer Theatre. They will donate proceeds to relief organizations supporting Ukraine. (Northforker)
