An officer was at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway and Yaphank Woods Boulevard when a pickup truck traveling southbound on William Floyd Parkway struck the rear of a vehicle which then hit the officer. William Petersohn, 38, of Mastic, was charged with DWI. (Patch)
