Event Spotlight: 5th Annual Lax Out Cancer Game
Annual lacrosse game raises money for local cancer organizations and families dealing with cancer.
The Shoreham-Wading River boys varsity lacrosse will host Mount Sinai on May 4th for the 5th annual Lax Out Cancer Game.
Festivities start at 3:30pm with the game scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Proceeds are divided up into fourths going the 'Make-A-Wish', 'Ronald McDonald House', 'The Lustgarten Foundation' and local families in financial need who are battling cancer. The goal for this year is $30,000.
