1. A Long Island man was killed after a targeted home invasion related to narcotics. Multiple people broke into a home on Everglades Lane in Coram at about 3:45 a.m. and Eric Westby, 46, was fatally shot and a female resident was pistol-whipped. (Patch)

Suffolk County Police today arrested an Arkansas woman for carrying a loaded handgun without a New York State permit at Cassone Leasing Inc., at 1900 Lakeland Ave., Ronkonkoma, after an employee, Nikki Naylor was accused of making unauthorized charges with a company credit card. She made more than $70,000 worth of unauthorized charges on her company credit card. (smithtownmatters.com)
3. The owner of long-time Curry Club in East Setauket will merge his traditional Indian cuisine restaurant with his daughters’ modern Indian eatery Saghar in Port Jefferson this spring. (Greater Long Island)
