Fentanyl Cocaine Overdoses + Sharks Again

Eight overdoses nearby may be linked to fentanyl in cocaine, police say. More sharks stopped by the South Shore, this time closing Smith Point Beach. More mosquitos tested positive for West Nile in Rocky Point. And nearby Medford has some affordable housing deals.

1. News 12 Long Island reports that recent overdoses on the North Fork may be linked to fentanyl-laced cocaine. There were eight overdoses and six deaths this week alone. (News 12)
