1. Suffolk County Police Arson Section detectives are investigating a fire that seriously injured a Ridge woman on Thursday at a Manhasset Trail home around 5:30 a.m. The Ridge Fire Department transferred her to Stony Brook University Hospital. (Patch)
2. Suffolk police detectives are searching for a man who used a stolen credit card from a locked car at a Setauket home. He made purchases at 7-Elevens in Smithtown and East Islip the following day, on Oct. 16. (Patch)
