Flooded Businesses + Homeowners Trapped
Here's a five-minute guide to everything worth knowing in town today.

Hey, people of Miller Place-Rocky Point! It's me again, your host of the Miller Place-Rocky Point Daily.
Ida's aftermath left downtown Port Jefferson Village with a flood mess to clean up. Flooded streets in Centereach meant some homeowners were still stuck in their homes Thursday morning. 64 Suffolk County beaches were closed to swimming due to runoff. And a coffee shop chain is expanding eastward with its fifth location.
