  1. A Huntington man has been charged with a hate crime after police say he spray-painted a Lee Zeldin sign with a swastika. Vincent J. Mckie was arrested outside his home on Tuesday. A swastika, “187,” and the word “Gambino,” were found painted on the campaign sign on the corner of West Pulaski Road and Oakwood Road in Huntington Station. (Daily Voice)
  2. Chick-Fil-A is coming to Farmingville, in the former Kmart shopping center at Portion Road and County Road 83. (Patch)
  3. A Hampton Bays man died in a house fire on Sunday. Police responded to a 10:19 p.m. emergency call about a structure fire at 94 W. Montauk Highway. When the fire was out, Pete McGuire, 55, was found on the second floor. (Patch)
