Here are the top three stories today in Miller Place-Rocky Point:

1. Firefighters were called to the scene of fire that broke out at a Setauket home on Thursday morning, around 7:37 a.m. at a home on Huyler Road. No one was injured. (Patch)
2. A new COVID-19 testing site will open at Stony Brook University Tuesday. This site will have a capacity of 275 tests a day, compared to the 1,000 tests that were administered daily in the 2020 pandemic months. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. Pediatric admissions have increased at Stony Brook Children's Hospital as the highly contagious omicron variant continues to spread on Long Island. Dr. Sharon Nachman, a pediatric infectious disease specialist, says most of those admitted are unvaccinated. (News 12)
