Peggy Spellman Hoey reports that former Rocky Point resident John Nugent, a 50-year-old former LIRR crew foreman, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and admitted he collected about $34,000 in bogus overtime pay back in July and agreed to pay about $110,000 in restitution. Nugent now lives in Florida. (Patch)
2. Columbia Care, which since 2016 has operated a medical marijuana dispensary in Riverhead, has begun selling whole flower at its four medical marijuana dispensaries in New York, including one on East Main Street in Riverhead. (RiverheadLOCAL)
