Local Joins SUNY Potsdam Production of "Ragtime"
Elizabeth Mirandi cast as a bureaucrat in SUNY Potsdam musical, Ragtime.
SUNY Potsdam has rounded out its cast and crew announcements for it's new Tony-winning musical show, Ragtime. After an intensive tryout session, Miller Place resident, Elizabeth Mirandi, was added to the cast as a bureaucrat. Mirandi can also be seen in the New Rochelle Ensemble.
Ragtime is a musical based off of a 1975 novel by E.L Doctorow and tells the story of three groups in the United States in the 20th century. The play follows an African American, an upper-class, and an Eastern European immigrant family.
The show will run from Nov. 14 to Nov. 17 with performances at 7:30 p.m. from Nov. 14 to Nov. 16, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Nov. 17.
