RIDGE, NY – A 67-year-old man was found drowned in his backyard swimming pool Sunday evening, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Seventh Precinct officers responded to 112A Raynor Road at about 6:35 p.m. after a family member called 911 to report finding Kenneth Kelly unresponsive in an above ground pool.
Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
