MILLER PLACE, NY — A man who robbed a Miller Place convenience store earlier this month is currently being sought after by Suffolk County Police.

On Sept. 11, a man entered Speedway, located at 370, Route 25A on September 11 and asked for a carton of cigarettes. As the clerk was getting the cigarettes, the man pulled a hammer from his waistband and demanded money, police said.

The clerk complied, and the man fled with cash and the cigarettes.
