Here are the top three stories today in Miller Place-Rocky Point:

1. A West Babylon man was shot to death on a Penn Station-bound Long Island Rail Road train in Ronkonkoma around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning. Yusef Staine, 20, was shot by a man he was traveling with who fled on foot before the train departed. (Patch)
2. Amazon is expected to open a warehouse at the Hampton Business District in Westhampton Beach this spring, part of the last building at the industrial park at Francis S. Gabreski Airport. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. A 45-year-old man was killed in a Central Islip parking lot Tuesday morning after he was pinned between two trucks. Rolando Padillacanales, of Ronkonkoma, was helping a driver back up a box truck at 301 South Research Place when the truck pinned him against a parked truck. (Patch)
