Miller Place Kindergarten Registration to Run through March 21st

Miller Place School District’s annual registration process for Andrew Muller Primary School’s kindergarten began Monday, March 3rd, 2025, and runs through Friday, March 21st, 2025. Miller Place-Sound Beach children who are five years old on or before December 1, 2025 are eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

As part of the two-step process, residents will begin by scheduling a mandatory appointment via the district’s online platform, which could be found here: https://calendly.com/schoolsignup/miller-place-kindergarten-registration-2024-25-clone?month=2025-03

In order to avoid any delay in the registration process, please have the following documentation accessible and available for each child that is entering kindergarten at the time of your scheduled appointment: 1) completed registration packet, 2) birth certificate or other official document providing your child’s age, 3) immunization records and current physical from your child’s physician and 4) proof of residence, which includes but is not limited to a copy of the deed, a copy of a lease and or a notarized copy of a Landlord Affidavit. To avoid any delay in the registration process, please review the registration packet and instructions carefully. If any documentation is missing, you may be asked to make a new appointment date to bring in a completed packet. An incomplete registration packet will not be accepted.

Registration packets could also be found by visiting the District’s website, clicking the “Registration” tab on the right corner sidebar and opening the “New Student Checklist and Form,” which is available in English and in Spanish.

Parents and or guardians are welcome to share this information with neighbors who may have a child that is eligible for kindergarten in the fall.
