- A Patchogue mother was arrested for driving drunk with her infant son in the backseat on Saturday. Maria Carballo, 29, is charged with a DWI under Leandra's Law, which is a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child. (News 12)

The resident of the home called 911 just before 8 a.m. to report their horse was stuck in the in-ground pool on Pond Road.
