The Gabby Petito Foundation made a $23,000 donation to Suffolk County Vibes along with $2,300 donation to a Suffolk County-based domestic violence shelter for new equipment. (Patch)
2. A Patchogue mother was arrested for driving drunk with her infant son in the backseat on Saturday. Maria Carballo, 29, is charged with a DWI under Leandra's Law, which is a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child. (News 12)
3. Suffolk County police and Bohemia firefighters rescued a three-year-old horse stuck in the deep end of a swimming pool Saturday morning, on Pond Road in Bohemia. (Subscription: Newsday)

Suffolk County police and Bohemia firefighters rescued the 3-year-old mare stuck in the deep end of a swimming pool Saturday morning, trapped in the homeowner’s pool covering.
The resident of the home called 911 just before 8 a.m. to report their horse was stuck in the in-ground pool on Pond Road.
