Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Long Island Crash: Police
The 33-year-old Selden was taken to Stony Brook Hospital Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, police say.
MILLER PLACE, NY — A motor vehicle crash critically injured a 33-year-old man in Miller Place on Friday, Suffolk police said.
The Selden man was riding a 2016 Suzuki westbound on Route 25A when it struck the rear of an eastbound 2023 Chevrolet Traverse that was also traveling on Route 25A and about to turn left into the Miller Place Plaza just before 7 p.m., according to police.
The man was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition, police said, adding that the driver of the Chevrolet, a 50-year-old Rocky Point woman, and a passenger were taken to Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson for treatment of minor injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check.
