New Trader Joe's Opening Soon On Long Island

The popular national grocery chain Trader Joe's is opening a new store on Long Island soon, joining several others in Nassau and Suffolk.

MILLER PLACE, NY — Long Islander's rejoice—a new Trader Joe's is opening on Long Island soon.

Trader Joe's, the popular boutique grocery store that's gained a cult following around the United States, is set to open in Miller Place sometime soon.

"We have not yet confirmed an opening date," a Trader Joe's spokesperson told Patch.

The new Trader Joe's will be located at 302 NY-25A in Miller Place. The store will be the third Trader Joe's in Suffolk County, and the eighth on Long Island, joining locations in Merrick, Oceanside, Hewlett, Garden City, Commack, Plainview and Lake Grove.

Trader Joe's first opened in 1967 and has 608 locations in 43 states.
