Nine Students Sign Letters of Commitment In Rocky Point
Students sign with some of the nation's top colleges on NCAA Signing Day
As a testament to their countless years of dedication to academics and athletics, nine talented Rocky Point High School seniors have been selected to continue their winning careers at some of the nation’s top colleges this fall.
During the school’s annual NCAA Signing Day, proud family and friends joined these students as they put pen to paper and signed their commitment letters. This year’s event was noted to have recognized one of the largest numbers of student-athletes in recent years.
“This commitment is a direct representation of the hard work and effort these young men and woman have shown both in the classroom and on the field,” said Amy Agnesini, the district’s director of health, physical education, athletics and intramurals. “I applaud you and your families for the time you have dedicated and am proud to watch you advance to the next level of competition.”
