Paraglider Injured In Fall From Sand Dunes On Long Island Beach: Police

The was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, Suffolk police say.

ROCKY POINT, NY — A paraglider was hurt when he fell from sand dunes in Rocky Point on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

First responders were called to Hagerman Landing Road at around 3:14 p.m., according to police.

The man, 25, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
