Police Searching For Driver In Long Island Hit-And-Run
A 2014-2017 silver Toyota Corolla traveling on Sound Beach Boulevard struck and injured a 55-year-old woman on Sept. 12, cops say.
SOUND BEACH, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s in identifying the driver of a vehicle that bolted from the scene after a woman was struck and injured in Sound Beach last week.
A 2014-2017 silver Toyota Corolla traveling on Sound Beach Boulevard struck and injured a 55-year-old woman on Sept. 12 at around 10 p.m., police said, adding that the driver then took off.
The vehicle has damage on the front passenger side, including a damaged or missing a right-hand side rear-view mirror, and it was last seen heading northbound on Sound Beach Boulevard, according to police.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
