PSEGLI Funds New Planters Downtown
Councilwoman Jane Bonner and the Rocky Point Civic Association met in Rocky Point to thank PSEG Long Island for a $3,387 grant.

Recently, Councilwoman Jane Bonner and the Rocky Point Civic Association met in Rocky Point to thank PSEG Long Island for a $3,387 PSEG Long Island Economic Development Beautification Grant. The grant was facilitated by Councilwoman Bonner, who worked with PSEG Long Island to secure the project funding. It allowed the Rocky Point Civic Association to purchase 13 large planters filled with perennials and greenery placed on the sidewalks in front of stores along Broadway in Rocky Point.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “On behalf of the Town of Brookhaven and the Rocky Point Civic Association, I thank PSEG Long Island for this very generous grant. It’s important that our communities have the support to fund projects like this one which helps to attract people and revitalize our downtown business districts.”
The PSEG Long Island Economic Development Beautification Grant is available within a single business district on a first come, first served basis. Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2022. For more information, go to www.PSEGLI.com.
