Road Closures, Diverted Traffic Planned Monday For Big Shot Concert In Rocky Point

There will be heavy traffic for the Big Shot Concert in the downtown area with Route 25A closed from 8:45 to 11 p.m., police said.

ROCKY POINT, NY – Suffolk police are advising motorists there will be heavy traffic in Rocky Point for the Big Shot Concert in the downtown area on Monday.

The event will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Route 25A from 4 to 11 p.m.

Overflow parking will be at Joseph A. Edgar School on 525 Route 25A. During the concert, Route 25A will be closed from the west side of the business district from 8:45 to 11 p.m. Traffic will be diverted on the eastbound bypass.

Westbound Route 25A will be closed at Broadway at 8:45 p.m.

Traffic coming from southbound Rocky Point Landing Road traffic near the school will be diverted westbound on Route 25A.

Attendees should not arrive before 4 p.m.

As a reminder, there is no alcohol or tobacco permitted on church or school grounds.
