ROCKY POINT, NY — The Rocky Point High School varsity cheerleading team captured the state's Public High School Athletic Association’s Class B championship at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton on Saturday, school district officials said.

Competing against the best schools from around the state, the team took first place, bringing home a state title for the second time in program history.
