Rocky Point Football Star Honored as Scholar Athlete
Matthew Amoscato honored by National Football Foundation.
Rocky Point High School's Matthew Amoscato was recently honored as on of the Suffolk County Golden Eleven award winners by the National Football Foundation, according to a report in Newsday.
Amoscato is one of 11 high school football players in the county honored for their work on and off the field. Each coach in the county was asked to submit one player as a candidate for the award.
