The Rocky Point School District received a gift of kindness from the East End Retired Teachers’ Association when it accepted a check to benefit a local family in need.
Representing the association, Robert Svoboda presented a check for $125 to Rocky Point High School Principal Jonathan Hart and guidance facilitator Matthew Poole, who, in turn, shared their gratitude for the generosity of the organization and how educators, even in retirement, are still making a positive mark on the world.
