Rocky Point High School student Marco Tanza was honored by the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology’s Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center where he is a student. Marco earned Employee of the Month in the Carpentry, Restoration, Construction and Home Improvement program.

Marco was lauded as being a role model among his peers and for his professionalism. The Employee of the Month program was established to recognize students whom their instructors would want to hire. The designation honors students who demonstrate professionalism and have the desire to be trained.
