Search For Long Island Hit-And-Run Driver Continues After One Month: Cops
A 55-year-old woman was struck on Sept. 12, police say.
SOUND BEACH, NY — Saturday will mark one month since a 55-year-old woman was struck in a hit-and-run in Sound Beach, while investigators continue to search for the driver, Suffolk police said.
The woman was struck by a 2014 to 2017 silver Toyota Corolla traveling on Sound Beach Boulevard at around 10 p.m., and the car sped away from the scene with front right side damage, including a damaged or missing right-hand side rear-view mirror, according to police.
The woman's injuries were non-life-threatening, a police spokesperson said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
