1. The leader of far-right group, the Setauket Patriots', was charged with criminal mischief in an alleged domestic incident. James Robitsek, 53, of Setauket was arrested in Selden on Jan. 21 and was charged with criminal mischief with the intent to damage property, a misdemeanor. (Patch)
2. Stony Brook University sports teams will be competing in a new conference next year. The university announced it will join the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). (Patch)
3. A Smithtown man is missing. Peter McGuire, 29, was last seen leaving Landing Avenue on foot at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 and he has history of drug use, police said. (Patch)
