The "Stand with Ukraine" rally is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the southeast corner of Route 25A and Bennetts Road in Setauket. Donations of clothing and more will be accepted, to be sent to refugees in Poland. (Patch)
2. Nelson Moya, a Florida police chief, will become a Suffolk deputy county executive, overseeing the county Probation Department. Moya is the first Latino deputy county exec in Suffolk's history. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. Suffolk police are asking for the public's help to find a burglar who broke into a Lake Ronkonkoma gas station and stole $325 in cigarettes on Feb. 27. A man broke a window at BP gas station on Portion Road at 3:17 a.m. (Patch)
