Cars Ransacked, Electronics Stolen Last Week

LED lights, a catalytic convertor, a Louis Vuitton bag, and an iPad 2 were among the items stolen from cars in Nassau, cops said.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • June 16: Heather Drive, East Hills; license plates and EZ Pass stolen.
  • June 17: W. Carl Avenue, Baldwin; cash stolen.
  • June 17: Zavatt Street, Inwood; backpack containing wire cutters, wire stripper, wire toner, and installation meter stolen.
  • June 17: Thomas Avenue, Baldwin; Louis Vuitton bag, three pairs of glasses, Dell laptop, sport coat stolen.
  • June 17: Baldwin Park, Baldwin; eight LED lights taken from Town of Hempstead Dump Truck No. 41.
  • June 18: Robbins Lane, Jericho; clothing stolen.
  • June 18: Center Lane, Levittown; unknown person rummaged through car.
  • June 18: Whole Foods, Munsey Park; business bag and laptop stolen,
  • June 18: Kenneth Street, Oceanside; iPad 2, yellow gold bracelet, two cell phone chargers stolen.
  • June 18: Church Street, Inwood; car rummaged through.
  • June 18: Pine Street, Franklin Square; cash stolen.
  • June 19: TJ Maxx, N. New Hyde Park; shopping bag and debit card stolen.
  • June 19: Stewart Avenue, Westbury; wallet and contents stolen.
  • June 19: Faith Lane, Westbury; headphones stolen.
  • June 19: Elmont Road and Linden Boulevard, Elmont; wallet stolen.
  • June 19: N. Michigan Avenue, N. Massapequa; license plates stolen from cars.
  • June 20: Roosevelt Avenue, East Meadow; car ransacked.
  • June 20: Good Old Gold, Massapequa; bag of assorted silverware stolen from trunk.
  • June 20: Coolidge Avenue, Lakeview; pocketbook stolen.
  • June 21: Oak Brook Lane, Merrick; Mac laptop, Beats headphones, textbooks, sweater, scientific calculator stolen.
  • June 21: Barbara Lane, East Meadow; license plates stolen.
  • June 21: Ocean Avenue, Massapequa; LG cellphone, man’s watch, Social Security card stolen.
  • June 21: Astor Place, Roosevelt; wallet and contents stolen.
  • June 21: Cobalt Lane, Westbury; insurance card, registration stolen from glove box.
  • June 21: Equinox, Great Neck; wallet stolen from glove box.
  • June 21: Southview Court, Carle Place; car ransacked, makeup bag, gift cards, iPhone charger stolen.
  • June 21: Lewis Avenue, Westbury; car ransacked, wallet and iPod stolen.
  • June 22: LA Fitness parking lot, N. New Hyde Park; laptop, Bose speakers, case of golf balls, Golf GPS Sky Caddy stolen.
  • June 22: Macy’s Furniture Gallery, Carle Place; catalytic convertor stolen.
  • June 22: Eileen Court, N. Bellmore; pocketbook stolen.
