Motorcyclist Killed in Nassau Crash

ALBERTSON, NY – A 29-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car in Albertson Friday morning, police said.

According to police, Joshua Helfenbein was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson when it crashed into a 2016 Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of I.U. Willets Road and Albertson Avenue at 11:17 a.m.

Helfenbein, of Seaford, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai, a 70-year-old man, remained at scene and was uninjured. No criminal charges have been filed.

An investigation is ongoing, police said.
