Nightlife in Mineola This Weekend

After a long, hard week at work you deserve some fun. Concerts, contests and entertainment, we’ve got you covered when it comes to nightlife in the village. Let us be your guide to all the fun in town for all the hottest spots to check out this weekend in Mineola. Every Friday, we’ll be running down the hottest spots in Mineola to plan your weekend.

Concerts

Listen to some of the great tunes of the 60's and 70's with the sounds of "The Rockinghams" this Friday night at 9 p.m. at Eleanor Rigby's. On Saturday night listen to "Acoustic Blue" at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday night will be jumping at the NYCB Theatre At Westbury as "Dick Fox's Doo Wop Extravaganza" takes the stage at 7 p.m. The lineup will include the bands, The Duprees, Shirley Alston Reeves, Original Lead Singer of the Shirelles, Jay Seigel's Tokens and Johnny Tillotson. Tickets for the show are $39.50 to $49.50.

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring in "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug."

Happy Hour

Murphy’s Bar & Grill offers up happy hour on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $3 domestic bottles, wine and mixed drinks, $2.50 for Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $2 for Hanley’s draft. Unwind after a long week with some friends at this Mineola watering hole.
