Taglio Pizzeria, One of Best Places For A Slice In U.S.: Survey

MINEOLA, NY — There's one pizzeria on Long Island that is getting praise from the Old Country.

Taglio Pizza of Mineola was selected as the third-best slice in the U.S.

In citing Taglio, Italy's 50 Top Pizza survey said (translated from Italian) it "is a New York excellence that brings authentic Roman pizza to the heart of Long Island."

They singled out the Bianco, the Truffle Mushroom and the Mortadella with pistachio, as top slices.

Taglio, which also has a location in Massapequa Park, is the only Long Island pizzeria on the 2025 list.
