Arrests Made Following Robbery At Mineola T-Mobile Store: Police
Six T-Mobile stores, including one in Mineola, were robbed between Sept. 29 and Nov. 4, according to Nassau County police.
MINEOLA, NY — Authorities have arrested two teenagers they say robbed six T-Mobile stores on Long Island, including one in Mineola.
Lanizja Myers, 19, of Rosedale, and Elyanni Sesay, 19, of Brooklyn, are both charged with five counts of first-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, and third-degree criminal mischief.
Nassau County police say Myers and Sesay stole Apple Watches and iPhones from half a dozen T-Mobile stores between Sept. 29 and Nov. 4. In instances when a store employee intervened, police said the duo brandished a taser and pepper spray.

The reported incidents are as follows:
- 481 Old Country Rd., Westbury — Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7:20 p.m.
- 672 Stewart Ave. E., Garden City — Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7:38 p.m.
- 143 West Jericho Turnpike, Mineola — Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7:55 p.m.
- 1199 Grand Ave., Baldwin — Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 1:55 p.m.
- 88 Manetto Hill Mall, Plainview — Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 5:05 p.m.
- 348 West Sunrise Highway, Valley Stream — Thursday, Nov. 4 at 6:15 p.m.
Myers and Sesay were arrested in Queens last week without further incident, police said. They are scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Hempstead.
