Village Board Meeting
The Mineola Village Board will hold their regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall.

Creative Writing Workshop
The Mineola Library will hold a creative writing workshop for teens from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Learn strategies to increase your skills in description, voice and character, dialogue, and the power of revision. Become part of a writers' group. The workshop is adapted from an advanced course developed by Megan Frazer Blakemore, author of "The Water Castle." It is open to students in grades 8-12.

Horror Film Lecture
Keith Crocker's lecture/film study at 7 p.m. at the Mineola Library is a journey through the career of England's Hammer film studios. Along with a vintage memorabilia presentation, view a digest version of The Curse of Frankenstein (1957).
