For families, it's that time of year again when thoughts of beaches and barbeques begin to give way to getting ready for school.

Times have changed for many in terms of school supplies. In days gone by, pencils, a good eraser and some paper was pretty much all that was needed in ones school box to get the year started off right — but that's hardly the case these days.
