Flooded Parkway Remains Closed After Overnight Heavy Rains
A stretch of the the Bronx River Parkway in Westchester remained closed in both directions as ponding water blocked lanes.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The Bronx River Parkway in Westchester County remains closed in both directions after heavy overnight rains flooded thenormally busy roadway.
According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the Bronx River Parkway is closed to traffic in both directions between Exit 22 NY 119 - Tarrytown Road; NY 100 - Central Avenue (White Plains) and Exit - Sprain Brook Parkway (Yonkers). All four lanes of the parkway are closed with flooding blocking the lanes of travel.
