Police Issue Traffic Alerts Ahead Of Biden's Visit To Westchester

YONKERS, NY — Heavy traffic is expected in Westchester on Sunday due to the "Get Out the Vote Rally" bringing President Biden and Governor Hochul together at Sarah Lawrence College.
According to Sarah Lawrence officials, those attending should arrive on campus by 2:30 p.m. Organizers said it is important to allow for extra time and expect traffic. The parking lot will be closed by 4 p.m.
Traffic concerns won't be limited to the area around the campus. Biden's motorcade is expected to travel from Westchester County Airport to the event in Yonkers.

The Yonkers Police Department posted a traffic alert Saturday afternoon warning commuters and residents that there would be intermittent and temporary street closures in Lawrence Park on Sunday, from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. A slow re-opening is expected after 10 p.m.

Invited guests are advised to find legal street parking south of the Cross County Parkway. Event parking will be limited and delays are expected.
