Start The Weekend Early With Yonkers 1st Thursday Gallery Hop

YONKERS, NY — A gallery walk sounds much more sophisticated than a pub crawl, but on Thursdays in Yonkers, you can do a little of both.

The monthly First Thursday Gallery Hop, sponsored by the Yonkers Public Library and the Yonkers Gallery Group, will return to Yonkers starting Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to take self-guided tours of contemporary artworks from both emerging and established artists at several galleries in downtown Yonkers.

Participating galleries include:

• Blue Door Art Center 13 Riverdale Ave.
• Riverfront Art Gallery Riverfront Library 1 Larkin Center
• Urban Studio Unbound/Warburton Galerie 16 Warburton Ave.
• Philipse Manor Hall (re-opens Summer 2022) 25 Warburton Ave.

In addition, many downtown restaurants will offer 10% off food and beverages to Gallery Hop visitors who provide a code or photo of the Gallery Hop poster with the date displayed from any of the locations.
