Travel Alert: Thruway/Cross County Exit Ramp To Close Overnight
Breaking: The ramp connecting two of the busiest highways in Westchester will be closed for 4 hours overnight.
YONKERS, NY — If you're going to be headed home late, you might want to plan an alternate route.
The New York State Thruway Authority says the northbound I-87 exit 4 off-ramp (Cross County Parkway - Mile Square Road) in Yonkers will close overnight, during the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 26.
The good news is the closure is not expected to affect the Tuesday morning commute. The ramp will be closed from 12:30 a.m. - 4:30 a.m. for maintenance activities.

Drivers should follow the posted detour to exit 3 (Mile Square Road), which will take them to Central Park Ave.
A Variable Message Sign will be activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closure and detour.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change, the Thruway Authority said.
