11-Month-Old NYC Girl's Death Ruled A Homicide: NYPD
Two separate infant's deaths have been ruled a homicide this week, according to the city's medical examiner.

NEW YORK CITY — A 11-month-old infant's death has been deemed a homicide, the city's medical examiner announced Friday.
Jazeli Mirabal of the Bronx died on Aug. 14, police said.
Officers found the 11-month-old victim unresponsive at 1314 West Farms Road. Mirabal was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
At the time of the incident, it was reported the infant may have died from an apparent drowning.

Earlier this week on Nov. 13, officials also deemed the death of a 4-month-old infant as a homicide after finding cocaine in his system, Patch previously reported.
Ariel Gonzalez, of the Bronx, died on Aug. 10.
Officers responded to a 911 call at 707 Eagle Ave., where they found the 4-month-old boy unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, police said.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined Gonzalez died from acute cocaine intoxication.
An investigation remains ongoing in that incident as well.
