2 Shot, Injured In NYC Shooting, Police Say
Multiple suspects fled the scene on Citi Bikes, police said.
NEW YORK CITY — Two bystanders were shot and injured on a New York City street on Tuesday, police said.
The incident happened on 163rd Street and Elton Avenue in the Bronx around 4:45 p.m.
A 20-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy were injured in the shooting as they were in a passing car, police said.

The boy was cut by shattered glass, and the 20-year-old male driver was shot in the left arm, police said.
The 20-year-old was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The boy was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The shooting may have been between two rival gangs, according to reports.
An individual was taken into custody after the incident, but no charges have been filed as of Wednesday evening.
