2 NYPD Cops Sexually Assaulted Woman Too Drunk To Stand: Reports

NEW YORK CITY — Two NYPD cops are accused of taking home and sexually assaulting a woman who was too drunk to stand in a Bronx bar, according to reports.
Officers Christian Garcia, 32, and Julio Alcantara-Santiago, 40, were arrested Tuesday on a slew of sex crime charges, NYPD officials said.
The charges stem from a July 9 incident that began in Zona De Cuba, a Cuban joint that's owned by former mayoral candidate Fernando Mateo, the New York Daily News reported.

The cops spotted a woman inside the Grand Concourse bar who was so drunk she couldn't stand up on her own, according to court documents cited by the Daily News and other outlets. They drove her to a nearby apartment building, where she awoke as Alcantara-Santiago and Garcia sexually assaulted her, the reports state.
Alcantara-Santiago and Garcia face charges of a first-degree criminal sex act with a helpless victim, first-degree sex abuse, third-degree criminal sex act with a victim incapable of consent, forcible touching, sexual contact with a person incapable of consent, sexual misconduct and third-degree sexual abuse, according to court records.

The cops both pleaded not guilty during arraignments Tuesday, court records show.
A judge set Alcantara-Santiago's bail at $50,000 cash and Garcia's at $30,000 cash, records state.
