2 People Stabbed In Separate Incidents On Subway Trains, Police Say
The two incidents happened in Brooklyn and Manhattan over the weekend.

NEW YORK CITY —Two men were stabbed in separate attacks on New York City subway trains over the weekend, police said.
The first incident happened on Friday, aboard a southbound R train as it approached the Jay St.-Metro Tech station in Brooklyn, around 2 p.m.
A 53-year-old man was apparently stabbed in the head by an unidentified suspect. The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene and declined to be hospitalized, police said.

A suspect was taken into custody after the stabbing. It is not known what led up to the incident.

The second incident happened on an F train that was approaching the W. Fourth St.-Washington Square subway station in Greenwich Village around 4:45 p.m., police said.
A 46-year-old man was found stabbed in the abdomen after an apparent argument with another commuter.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
A suspect was taken into custody after the attack.
Charges are pending for both suspects in the two incidents.
