A 5-month-old boy in The Bronx died overnight Friday after coming down with a fever, according to police and a news report.

NEW YORK CITY — A 5-month-old boy in The Bronx died overnight Friday after coming down with a fever, according to police and a report.

The boy's mother told police she found him unresponsive in his crib just before midnight, several hours after she'd given the baby Tylenol to bring down a fever, the New York Post reported.

Paramedics rushed the boy from his home in NYCHA's Castle Hill Houses to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
