'Crackhead Barney' Ambushes Alec Baldwin NYC Coffee Shop: Video
"Just say 'Free Palestine' one time," the performance artist repeatedly chides Baldwin before he appears to smack the phone from her hand.
NEW YORK CITY — Alec Baldwin has a new nemesis: "Crackhead Barney."
The performance artist activist recently ambushed the "30 Rock" actor inside a New York City coffee shop and demanded he say "Free Palestine," according to a video viewed nearly 10 million times on X.
The video ends with an apparently fed-up Baldwin smacking the phone from the woman's hand.

"White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me," tweeted Crackhead Barney & Friends.
"While I was trying to get coffee."

The 51-second video, however, appears to show Baldwin minding his own business as he talks on his phone before the woman — who hosts an "anti-fascist interview show" — begins haranguing him.
She asked Baldwin, "Why'd you kill that lady?" — an apparent reference to the fatal 2021 shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film "Rust," for which he faces an involuntary manslaughter charge. He has maintained he was told the gun didn't contain live ammunition and that he's not responsible for Hutchins' death.
"Just say 'Free Palestine' one time," Crackhead Barney says, telling Baldwin she'll leave him alone if he did.
Baldwin opens a door in an apparent bid to get the woman to leave, but she continues to shout at him.
He then asks a coffee shop workers for "one quick favor" before he swipes the phone from the woman's hand.
Baldwin is no stranger to clashing with photographers, including a New York Daily News snapper in 2012 who contended the actor punched him.
Crackhead Barney has been a fixture in high-profile events in New York City, such as when she was escorted from protests outside former President Donald Trump's arraignment in 2023.
"The racism in New York City is disgusting," she shouted after she flopped to the ground as if NYPD officers had shoved her, video shows.
