Bicyclist Dies After Hitting Pedestrian In Central Park: Police
The collision happened Wednesday near 96th Street and East Drive, according to authorities.
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK — A 43-year-old bicyclist died Wednesday after colliding with a pedestrian in Central Park, authorities said.
After hitting the pedestrian, the bicyclist fell and hit his head on a curb near 96th Street and East Drive, ABC 7 News is reporting. He was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries to the hand.
