A new list says NYC has the nation's third sexiest accent, after Boston and Texas.
NEW YORK – The Boston accent is sexier than New York's? Fuhgeddaboudit.
The website www.bigseventravel.com has ranked the nation's sexiest talkers – and some schmuck listed New York after Texas and Boston.
Obviously whoever drew up the list is more a fan of Mahhhk Wahlberg than Robert De Niro.

"The New York accent is probably one of the most recognizable dialects in all of America, thanks to many a famous movie," the researchers said.
"NYC speakers have loooong vowels and short ‘a’s. Fast and hypernasal, yet quite charming at times."
