Boy, 15, Arrested For Trying To Take NYC Subway Train For Joyride

The teen is accused of trying to operate a No. 2 train Tuesday morning, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for trying to take a New York subway train for a joyride on Tuesday, police said.

The teen is accused of trying to operate a No. 2 train at the Prospect Avenue subway station in the Bronx around 4:45 a.m., police said.

The 15-year-old has been charged with reckless endangerment, criminal impersonation and criminal trespassing.

The same teenager was previously arrested after he and five others stole an R train in Brooklyn and took for a joyride last month, according to a PIX11 report.
